⚠️ 11 Pro vs 11 - Key Difference:
  • iPhone 11 Pro uses OLED - better colors, true blacks
  • Standard iPhone 11 uses LCD
  • Screens are NOT interchangeable
  • OLED replacements cost more but look better

Tools Required

  • Pentalobe screwdriver (P2)
  • Tri-point Y000 screwdriver
  • Phillips #000 screwdriver
  • Suction cup
  • Plastic pry tools / spudger
  • Tweezers
  • Heat gun or iOpener
  • Magnetic mat
  • iPhone 11 Pro OLED replacement screen

Replacement Process

  1. Power off the iPhone
  2. Remove two pentalobe screws at bottom
  3. Heat edges to soften adhesive
  4. Use suction cup to open from right side
  5. iPhone 11 Pro opens from RIGHT (different from newer models)
  6. Disconnect battery first
  7. Remove display brackets and disconnect cables
  8. Transfer Face ID/earpiece components
  9. Install new display and reconnect
  10. Test thoroughly before sealing
🚨 Important: iPhone 11 Pro opens from the RIGHT side (like a book opening from the right). This is different from iPhone 12+ which open from the left.
