  • Pentalobe screwdriver (P2)
  • Tri-point Y000 screwdriver
  • Phillips #000 screwdriver
  • Small suction cup
  • Fine plastic pry tools / spudger
  • Fine-tip tweezers
  • Heat gun or iOpener
  • Magnification (helpful for small parts)

Replacement Process

Similar to iPhone 13, but in a smaller package:

  1. Power off and remove bottom pentalobe screws
  2. Heat edges to soften adhesive
  3. Open from left side using suction cup
  4. Disconnect battery first (safety)
  5. Remove display cable brackets
  6. Disconnect display and digitizer cables
  7. Transfer Face ID/earpiece module carefully
  8. Install new display
  9. Test before sealing
