Tools Required

  • Pentalobe screwdriver (P2)
  • Phillips #000 screwdriver
  • Suction cup
  • Plastic pry tools
  • iPhone 6 LCD replacement

Replacement Process

  1. Power off iPhone
  2. Remove two pentalobe screws at bottom
  3. Use suction cup to lift display
  4. Screen hinges at top - open carefully
  5. Disconnect battery
  6. Remove metal plate covering cables
  7. Disconnect display cables
  8. Transfer Home Button to new screen
  9. Transfer earpiece speaker and front camera
  10. Install new display and test

Touch ID Note

⚠️ Keep your original Home Button - it's paired to your phone for Touch ID. Replacement buttons work as buttons but won't unlock with fingerprint.
