Tools Required
- Pentalobe screwdriver (P2)
- Phillips #000 screwdriver
- Suction cup
- Plastic pry tools
- iPhone 6 LCD replacement
Replacement Process
- Power off iPhone
- Remove two pentalobe screws at bottom
- Use suction cup to lift display
- Screen hinges at top - open carefully
- Disconnect battery
- Remove metal plate covering cables
- Disconnect display cables
- Transfer Home Button to new screen
- Transfer earpiece speaker and front camera
- Install new display and test
Touch ID Note
⚠️ Keep your original Home Button - it's paired to your phone for Touch ID. Replacement buttons work as buttons but won't unlock with fingerprint.
