  • Pentalobe screwdriver (P2)
  • Tri-point Y000 screwdriver
  • Phillips #000 screwdriver
  • Large suction cup
  • Plastic pry tools / spudger
  • Tweezers
  • Heat gun or iOpener
  • Magnetic mat
  • iPhone 15 Plus OLED replacement screen

Replacement Process

Same process as iPhone 15 but with larger display:

  1. Power off the iPhone
  2. Remove two pentalobe screws next to USB-C port
  3. Heat all edges (larger display = more adhesive)
  4. Open from left side
  5. Support the larger display carefully
  6. Disconnect battery first
  7. Remove display cable brackets
  8. Disconnect all cables
  9. Transfer Face ID/Dynamic Island assembly
  10. Install new display
  11. Test thoroughly before sealing

Large Display Tips

⚠️ Working with 6.7" displays:
  • Heat edges longer - more adhesive area
  • Use larger suction cup
  • Support display to avoid cable stress
  • Take extra care - larger screens are more expensive
