iPhone 15 Screen Replacement

Tools Required

  • Pentalobe screwdriver (P2)
  • Tri-point Y000 screwdriver
  • Phillips #000 screwdriver
  • Suction cup
  • Plastic pry tools / spudger
  • Tweezers
  • Heat gun or iOpener
  • Magnetic mat
  • iPhone 15 OLED replacement screen

Replacement Process

  1. Power off the iPhone
  2. Remove two pentalobe screws next to USB-C port
  3. Heat edges to soften adhesive
  4. Open from left side using suction cup and pick
  5. Support display at 90°
  6. Disconnect battery first (safety)
  7. Remove display cable bracket screws
  8. Disconnect display and sensor cables
  9. Transfer Face ID/Dynamic Island assembly
  10. Install new display
  11. Test before sealing (Face ID, touch, Dynamic Island)

Post-Repair Notes

⚠️ After replacement:
  • Settings will show "Unknown Part" warning
  • True Tone may be disabled
  • Dynamic Island should work if sensors transferred correctly
  • Face ID should work with careful component transfer
