Display Specifications

  • Pentalobe screwdriver (P2)
  • Tri-point Y000 screwdriver
  • Phillips #000 screwdriver
  • Suction cup
  • Plastic pry tools
  • Tweezers

Replacement Process

Same as iPhone 7 but with larger display:

  1. Power off iPhone
  2. Remove two pentalobe screws at bottom
  3. Lift display from bottom with suction cup
  4. Open gently - hinges at top
  5. Disconnect battery
  6. Remove bracket screws and disconnect cables
  7. Transfer Home Button/Touch ID
  8. Transfer earpiece and front camera
  9. Install new display
  10. Test and reassemble
